My Journey While Moving Ahead In My Career:
I realized this was
one of the many firsts that I have taken up head on. I have never hesitated to
explore unchartered territory instead of resigning to fate or doing something
just because that is how most people have done it all this while. After all,
someone has to be the first to do it
Challenges Faced:
Have had over 17 years
of industry experience in various roles in the IT industry in the US and India.
Each role came with its own set of challenges but having spent most of my time
in the US during those years, I would say, the biggest would be going back to
work after maternity leave without having a support system at home that we are
used to in India. Once I started my entrepreneurial journey around 7 years ago,
many questioned as to why quit a high-profile IT job get into a difficult
lifestyle full of uncertainty and challenges. I rose over all doubt and decided
to take the plunge into entrepreneurship. Today, i feel proud to say that I
have been able to scale both my businesses 100% bootstrapped and no spend on
paid marketing either.
Words of Wisdom to Restart Your Career:
When people shed
doubts over you or your capabilities, always go with your gut. If you know you
can do it, believe in yourself and just do it. There is a lot of power in
positive thinking. When you really want to achieve something and work hard for
it, the universe will eventually align things in your favour to make it happen.
