Every step of my journey was a testament to resilience and determination. It was more than just a job; it was a quest for independence - financially and emotionally. My first company opened doors to life-changing opportunities amidst a culture predominantly patriarchal.Being one of the few women in a male-dominated organization was like navigating uncharted waters. I faced challenges beyond the ordinary, trying to move the same wheels others did, but in heels. The absence of female role models made my path lonelier, a path that often felt like a battle against stereotypes and unconscious bias.However, amidst the hurdles, there were beacons of support. My immediate manager and the upper management team stood by me, providing equal opportunities despite the prevailing norms. Despite feeling like an outsider at times, I seized the chance to travel to onsite locations, like the US, defying expectations and working directly with clients.Transitioning from the corporate world to the social sector marked a pivotal moment in my career. The deep-seated desire to make a meaningful impact on communities and children led me down a new path, one riddled with uncertainties and doubts. Yet, the unwavering support of my family, particularly my brother, gave me the courage to embark on this transformative journey.Four years into the development sector, I found myself reaping rewards beyond monetary gains. Earning on par with my corporate peers was not just a validation of my choices but a testament to the power of perseverance and sincerity. The path less traveled had unveiled vistas of growth and fulfillment that I could not have imagined in my earlier corporate days.Reflecting on my journey, I am reminded of the importance of taking risks and embracing change. Through hardships and triumphs, I have learned that true success lies in facing failures head-on, without succumbing to regrets. Each challenge was a stepping stone, shaping not just my career but my character, instilling in me a sense of purpose and resilience that transcends professional realms.

TRANSFORM LIFE OF 98 SLUM GIRLS - BUILD WORLD LEADERS

It's a fund raising campaign, with the goal amount of $1800, to support the education of 98 girls in sixth grade from Delhi's biggest slum area. We successfully raised the goal amount in one week, and were able to exceed it by the end of campaign.
